I have been trying to figure out a way to "Wind" the hinge springs on the bottle door of my V-81 little tighter... I'ts a bear to wind them and was wondering if there are any tips on a good (Easier) way to do this?

John - I don't know how the springs work on your machine but take a look at this
thread
and see if it helps.

I just twist it afew times and slide the rod through the hinge while holding it all together, prob not the easiest way but it works

Thanks for the tips. I"ve tried the brute force method as well and twisted it a few times around but still doesn't seem like enough tension to pull the door completely closed against the gasket, and I can see light coming through the gap from the bottle door light... I want to get it a bit tighter so i'll have to try again. Thanks
