Quote (Markito @ Mar. 22 2006,11:43) | Hey Kilroy, Everytime I see your ID, it makes me think that you have a clone living in Minneapolis. I say this because there is a cool shop here called "Kilroy's Classic Malt Shop" that sells old soda machines, jukes, popcorn machines and every other cool old diner, etc. stuff. I prefer to find mine out in the real world for a fraction of the price, rather than buying them there, but it is a cool place to walk through and wish I had all their stuff. Check out their website: http://www.classicmalt.com/ | Hey guys, Guess what, just today the Minneapolis Star Tribune did a story on "Kilroy's" here in Minneapolis! What a coincidence, just days after I mention the place here.
Check it out at: http://www.startribune.com/389/story/329328.html
If you can't access it, use these:
Username: sodafans Password: roundtops
My favorite quote from the owner of the place: "If I had all the money in the world, I'd still do this. Only I wouldn't sell a thing."
I think that totally describes how all of us feel too.
Enjoy!

Sounds good. I'll have to see if I'm "flying solo" or if my wife will be coming with me. If the wife comes, it will be a quick weekend visit with my relatives in the SE part of the state. If I come by myself I'll have some time to play.

Ouch, my back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I went to pick up the two Trashcan Jukeboxes at the guys house today. I climbed into my van and we were tipping one of the huge machines into my van. I was standing up and slipped on the moving blanket and my feet went up and I fell about 2.5 feet flat on my back and then the huge machine fell on top of me!!! Of course my first reaction was, did I break any parts of the juke. LOL! Then I realized I was trapped under it, but luckily the seller tipped it up to get me out. But oooooooh my back has been hurting badly ever since.
But besides that, I had a great day today. Brought the two Trashcan jukes to storage, then picked up my Vendo 63 and brought it there and then had great luck on eBay late tonight.
See my new threads:
Great night for me on eBay
