Hello everyone!

I've begun the process of upgrading our Photo Gallery System to a more robust version. I've been waiting for this MySQL version to come out and become stable... So here it is...

I'm asking anyone that has created an album and uploaded photos to ensure their album(s) are accurate as these have been imported from the old system.

With this said, please do not upload to the old system as this will no longer be supported. Use the link provided below to access the New & Improved Photo Gallery:

New & Improved Photo Gallery

When I have completed configuring things to my liking and I would encourage input from everyone, I'll then remove the old system and relink SMC to access the new Photo Gallery!

Upon first viewing, I noticed the thumbnails have been cropped, this must have been a setting I overlooked prior to importing... I'll see about this in the coming days, but for now, enjoy, explore and be sure to post suggestions...

Looks good.  I have one comment though.  My screen resolution is 1024x768, which seems to be what most people use.  When I get inside the different albums the last column is cut in half.  It would be nice if there were only three albums across instead of four.

Brent,

I was looking for that setting but couldn't find it...
I'll see if this can be changed somewhere...

Thanks for the input!

Jim - mission accomplished... Looks great and everything is there from my album.  I was going to try adding a new album for the Ideal55 but couldn't figure out how to add a new album.

Bryan,

Log in, navigate to your main album or the album you wish to create a new album in, and then click on the link on the upper left side, Add Album.
You will then be presented with a page for the new album properties. Be sure to enter at least the Name, Title and a brief description; the "Create" button is at the very bottom... That should do it!

Hey Jim - I don't seem to have the "add album" option?  I used the link above to go to the new gallery, logged in, clicked on 'Soda Machine Restorations' and this is what I see.

Bryan,

Thanks for the screen capture photo!
I'm at work for next two days, so in my spare time, I'll be looking at settings and permissions... I'll post back any changes or ask for additional input to ensure everything is functioning properly...

I'm back...

I've set permissions on the albums so those that have registered and have an account, can create new albums and add photos... You should be able to edit your album as well...
