While I am restoring my old Seeburg, a friend called to see if I would be interested in an original 1946 large teardrop speaker taken out of an old soda fountain.  Of course I am.  The price was right.  I will be restoring it and matching the color to go with my Seeburg G.  I will keep you posted.

Thanks for the kind words.  Although I have promised the wife on numerous occasions that I would sell some of my "finds"., I have never been able to pull the trigger.  After something is restored, I find that I am unable to part with it.  Many of you have gone through the same thing.
 Brian

Brian from a fellow Brian let me just say it would probably be in your best interest to atleast sell one... Use the money to take wife on little vacation, or do something else fun. Women put up with quite a bit, but you shouldn't push the good ones to much. Who knows if you make some serious jack from it you might think different about it. From then on you can say "Hey I did sell one, but this one is special to me it's not for sale" Anyway you probably should sell atleast one to make her happy..... |
