Lulu,

Unique machine...
I have never seen/heard of this manufacturer/model before.
Is the coin mech and refrigeration operational...?
Does the sign, "Lift Lid - Select Beverage" illuminate or are the letters just decals...?
The decal on the underside of the lid is in great shape considering it's located in the cooling compartment!
With your permission, I may have to include this manufacturer/model in the Soda Machines Listings...

Sorry it took so long to get back--too many irons in the fire!

I've attached a couple of photos of the tags on the machine.
The "Lift lid-Select beverage" is painted on.  I haven't had a chance to test the machine.  It has about a 15' cord with a bad spot in the middle.  I did plug it in and it ran, but I unplugged it right away.  The coin mech. doesn't work.  The coin return lever won't go all the way down.  I don't have a key to open it up to see what the problem is.  Should I just drill out the lock or are there replacement keys to be had??
If you'd like to include this in your listing--feel free.

Is there a chance that "Champion" is the name of the local vending company at the time and this machine is some other brand?  Also it says "patent applied for".  Perhaps if they were not a local company thay might have had bigger visions if a patent or two went through.  This may be a unique or very early machine for them or close to the only machine for them?!?!

I have a patent search program that will search the US Patent office database from the beginnning... I'll be out of the office tomorrow, but I'll see if I remember to search for this mfg and any related patents.... may be interesting...

Interesting Ken...
Is this something you purchased or can be searched via the web...?

Apparently, there is a problem with the USPTO site... you can also do a search on their site as well, but the program makes it much easier when it is working..
