I know this is a far off topic of Soda Machines, but figured it's old (1959) is red and white and has a lot of Chrome, Most of us who like this should appreciate it. Plus it's just too cool to not show off. This is a buddy of mines in Minneapolis who just got done replicating the Ghostbusters Car (a 1959 Caddy Ambulance). It's exact from top to bottom. It's been many years in the making and figured it's just too cool (and geeky) not to show off. Again not a soda machine, but same attributes as one and figured most of us here could appreciate the fine paint job and chrome! PS. this same friend of mine also owns one of the original Bat Mobile cars from the 60's TV show as well..

Outstanding!!
A co-worker of mine is obsessed with Ghostbusters and last year for Halloween, his kids dressed up as Ghostbusters! Everything from the jumpsuits to the proton packs were done to a tee. There's a few websites out there that actualy have schematic diagrams and specs that the FX guys used to build the movie originals!

So cool, love those tailights. Was this a production model? I ask because the rear door looks like it came off a large VW Beetle.

Hello Glen, This was a special order model used mainly as Ambulance's and Hearse's. A friend of mine had one back in H.S. complete with original lights and sirens. this thing was a blast to cruise in, basically a rolling party. '>
