The spacer plate I have were still bundled up and in the
precool space of my cv.

Also they were part of the "name this part" post a while
back and Josh clued me in to what they were.
Played around with them and figured out where they went.
I posted some pics somewhere on the board.

Most refrigeration systems are sealed and do not have fill valves.  No big deal, your refrigeration tech.will just tap into the line and do his test.

I may check with VEII again, though I would've appreciated it if they would've emailed me back when I asked about those bulbs.

My machine doesn't seem to have the spacers, but I only wanted it for regular 12 oz cans anyway.

Kevin, I live in the north MS area, so that's gonna be too far away, I'm sure. Even so, you can still help me out with some information. How much is a fair price to have a refrigeration tech put valves on the machine, then test and if all it is is low freon, recharge it? Can you give suggestions on a good alternative to R12?

Thanks again

P

I would go to an appliance repair store or an auto parts store & get a can of R-12 replacement. I have some out in the garage but not sure of the name.  You should be able to buy some tap valves also.

I think for a tech to come to your house you are looking at  $60 - $120.

Remember there is more to it than addinng the tape valve & adding freon. You may have to have the system evacuated. I leave this work to my ac service boys.

No spacers in my machine.

Hello

I went to the office today to work on the CV.

I installed the new lights. They are standard 24 inch under the counter type I bought from Lowes.

I test checked the electrical wiring. Both upper fan motors operate as they should & I gave the refrigeration system as quick check after the fan moter was installed.

Plus I did some final preperation to get this big boy ready to move. I had to reinstall the vend unit which I will remove again when I get it in place so I can reinstalled the can racks.

I did go to Sam's Club yesterday & bought 5 ea 36 can boxes of soda in preperation for loading.

Hello

I have another question for CV owners.

Do your machines have a way to defrost the upper evaporator coil?

My upper coil has iced up again.  When I replaced the wiring harness it had section on it for defroster so I think I am going to add some type of defrosting timer. I will get the smart guys who work for me to come up with some options.

If any of you smart guys have any ideas I am all ears.

Kevin,

It does look like mine, but I think you have the model wrong or you have a different one.  Here is a couple pictures of the tags that are on mine.  I have one row/auger that is spinning continuously on mine.  Is this a simple fix?
