My image is to big to put here but it shows infor on the spindles and how toi set up for different vends.  Single double etc.  If someone can tell me how to add a 1.6 meg file I'll put it on here.  I tried to make it smaller.

Timsmore

I think my machine has the same instructions inside. I guess I should read them sometime. The light just went on!!!

I am on the way out of town going to Nashville for the weekend so I will revisit this next week.

I posted in my blog spot this also...

I plugged everything in to test the whole unit before continuing.  Lights and cooling began.  I ate dinner and came back out and no lights and the two fans in the back had stopped but nice and cool.  Any help?

Hello

Let me update everyone on the CV.

I was still having problems with the upper evaporator freezing up after the recharge & relocation fo the T-stat sensing tip. So I purchased & installed an electronic timer in the refrigeration circuit. So now the machine shuts down the refrigeration from 10 pm to 545 am to defrost the coil. During this defrost cycle the upper evaporator motors continue to run to help with the drefrosting. So I have really taken the Thermostat out of the picture even though it is still installed. I also programed the time to shut off twice during the work day so I can moiniter it to make sure it is still working. My next issue is going to be installing something to help evaporate all the condensation. That will be next weeks project.

The second item is the lack of proper vending from th high volume stack. When I did a check it appears to be two things going on. First the front cans in the stack fall out of the augers bottom first & then the top of the can hits the auger so the can does not appear to get enough speed to slide out. I am going to try applying some type to teflon spray to the metal vending slide to help the can slide better.

Hello

Here is the final update on my Choice Vend!

I am not sure of the model I have but it appears to be a CV 181. 4 rows that hold about 36 cans & 1 high volume row that holds 48 cans.

1. I solved the refrigeration issue by installing a timer to turn on/off the refrigeration to  include a 7 hour defrost cycle at night. The machine comes back on at 5:47 am in plenty of time to get the drinks nice & cold.

2. I solved the excessive condensation problem by installing a heated condesation pan that evaporates the all the condensation.

3. I think I solved the failure to properly despense cans from the high volume vending stack. In the back of each stack is an adjustable slide/guide to is adjusted by the set screws. I found this stack out of adjustment by almost 3/4 of an inch. After I adjusted the rear slide I have had no further problems vending from this stack.  So next week I will move  the Mountain Dew to this stack.

4. I bought & parted out a CV 299 so I will be working on the sold out lights next week.  I have plenty of push button switches, screws, wiring harness, circut breakers, coin changer, vending motors etc.

Over the course of the last few weeks I have become pretty good at working on this big beast.

Finally I have been averaging $80 a week gross in vending sales from my three working for profit machines including the Red Bull V-63, Choice Vend -Soda machine & Lance pull handle snack machine. Now I am not getting rich but it does bring in a little money. I am trying to stash away some extra funds for the craps table when I go on the weeks cruise down the Mexican  Baja next month.

Have a good weekend

Hello

Installed new compressor & got the CV Big Boy up and running again. Then developed a loud vibration so I installed rubber  under the compressor deck to stop the noise.

So the CV Big Boy is running again.

Now aboout the 3 taken apart in the garage at home.
