I guess I'll jump in here - Jim somehow found himself a little extra time before Christmas and set up the Soda Jerk area to see if it will work the way that he wants. So far there is nothing there - kind of like a road in to a new subdivision
'> ! I'm sure he will be telling us something in the near future.

Hello everyone!
Just to clarify for those members that can see the Soda Jerk Forum...
I set this up with the hopes of having an area for members to share electronic versions of manuals, schematics or other literature/material deemed necessary for distibution.
There were discussions of Tim, a relatively new member, sharing several manuals which he recently acquired and said he was going to scan to create digital versions.
Since I have very little material in digital form that can be posted, I was hoping for this to come through to get the ball rolling and hopefully develop into a nice literature repository...
Additionally, there have been brief discussions regarding member access and the criteria enabling members' access... This can be a sensitive subject in that I really don't what to alienate members... Currently, this Category is only visible to Admins, 5 & 10 Cent Members and Soda Jerks.
This is where we are at this point... Any direction, suggestions or input is greatly appreciated.

Great job, Jim! Thanks for keeping us all updated. This sounds like it'll be a really valuable resource once it's up and running.

I have to confess that I feel a little left out. I'd hate there to be a two tier system where those at the top
tend to forget about us at the bottom.
Oh to be a Soda Jerk...
