I Heard two weeks ago that Back in Time Warehouse is Going to Close. I thought something might be wrong when I went to the Show in Hershey and they were a No Show. I had talked to their secretary at Barsandbooths earlier and I was to meet them at the Show to possibly buy a Juke Box. The Day before the Show - bitw canceled and lost their deposit on their booth. I have a Friend of a Friend who says he has been waiting on something they are supposed to be doing for him for 8 months and it still has not showed. No one seems to be there when you try to call them that knows anything and I understand that all their staff has quit. Does anyone know anything about this.
What is up with their specials and clearance Items on their website and why are their dates on the site from October.
My brother called them several weeks ago to buy a soda machine and they said that a soda machine would be a 7 month wait and they had nothing in stock. The guy on the phone thought my brother needed a part or something as well over the phone and went in to a fit over the phone about how they do not produce parts or something. They are not able to buy parts anymore , cut off or something.
I talked to a man at the show that said he has had trouble getting them to fix something on his machine.
Two weeks ago - their Stoner Candy Machine restorations were on Ebay - for sale outside their company - LOOK IT UP- under stoner candy machine completed auctions!
You can tell the photos are the same as on the memory lane blvd site.

Hi, My name is Curtis Kauffman of www.memorylanerestorations.com and just wanted to clear up the Stoner Candy Machine restoration on E-bay. That would be my work being offered under my new company Memory Lane Restorations. All the photos you will be seeing on E-bay and my new website www.memorylanerestorations.com are of machines I restored myself. I was a subcontracter for BITW, Memorylaneblvd and Bars and Booths for the past several years, restoring all there Stoner Candy Machines, Soda machines, Ciggerette machines, Custom design work, Trash cans, Menu boards, Signs, Logo design. Parting ways in December of 2005, I have enjoyed working with GW and all the staff at BITW, Memorylaneblvd and Bars and Booths but it was time for me to offer my Design and Restoration services world wide so. Welcome to Memory Lane Restorations! We have been in the professional restoration business for more than 15 years. In the past, Memory Lane Restorations has contracted our design and restoration services for outside internet retail only. Not until now has our quality restorations and custom design work been offered online to the public. Our new internet website memorylanerestorations.com Will be launched early 2006.
(1) Our new website will allow our customers to bypass the middle man and purchase our design and restoration services direct. Thus saving our customers thousands. You may see photos of our quality restorations and design work on several of our former client's websites, Memory Lane Restorations quality work has appeared on the prime time TV show ROKER ON THE ROAD! (A BLAST FROM THE PAST) in June of this year! If you saw that show, That was me.
(2) We have had our quality work on the cover of several national magazines and in many newspaper articles. Our Stoner Candy Machine restorations are known worldwide for their quality, beauty and attention to detail. memorylanerestorations.com has restored more than 300 Stoner Candy Machines and has become the leader in the industry on the working knowledge of these machines.
(3) The machine I have on E-bay, is to restore your complete Stoner Candy Machine, weather it be a Stoner Jr, Stoner 180, Stoner senior. If you are the lucky winner of my auction, This is what you will receive. We start with a complete dismantling of your machine. All painted and powder coated parts are sandblasted before any finish work begins. All parts that are to be re-plated are acid washed and then sent to the platers. All hardware such as nuts, screws, bolts, etc. are replaced with stainless steel. Your Stoner candy machine is stripped of every nut and bolt. every shelf is sandblasted and powder coated, every spring is removed and refinished or replaced. Please enjoy the close up photos below, This will give you some idea of what you would be getting and the care and detail that goes into our restorations. These photos showcase what we are so proud of.
(4) Snapshots - Photos of your machine are taken from start to finish. Upon receiving your machine, you are given a Photo disc of your restoration. This is standard practice on all our restorations. We will tell you where your serial number is located and ask that you wright it down. This will insure that the machine you send us is the one you get back. We are telling you this because upon receiving it, you won't believe it's your machine. (1)You pick the color. (2)Will do the rest!
(5) Make no mistakes! I restored every machine you will be seeing on my new website www.memorylanerestorations.com and E-bay that I post. Many of you that are in this business, I have helped many times with questions about your Stoners and drink machines. My name is Curtis Kauffman from Memory Lane and if you need my help, just shoot me an E-mail memorylane@myactv.net We restore all our machines ourself, we do not contract other companys to restore for us, you are dealing directly with us, no middle man!

I have worked with Curtis a few times and he is a great guy. He is how I was able to build the Frosty Root Beer machine. Without him I would not have been able to get it done.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Josh, your Frostie machine turned out great and it's nice to be able to help you guys get some CQQL stuff on the web. Look on E-bay later this week under Stoner Candy. Do I ever have a one off piece to show you. This machine has been sold to a great guy in NJ and would have been on display at the Hershey Gameroom Show, I was there with the great Steve Ebner of Funtronics. He was kind enough to let me hang out in his booth for the day, Even brought home two Stoners to restore for an old customer. What a great show! Next year I will be there as www.memorylanerestorations.com. Thanks again and look for the cool one of a kind restoration next week on E-bay under Stoner Candy. It will give you guys some ideas. I love this business! Thanks.

I too have called Curtis on numerous occasions when restoring a Stoner Jr. I was totally impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help me out. Curtis is without a doubt the go-to man for Stoner's, he really knows his stuff!! Curtis I'm glad to see you venturing out on your own, you'll be very successful in your endeavors. I will be restoring another Stoner in the very near future and will be buying all my parts from you and picking your brain for more info. Did you ever get the photo's of the white Jr. from a couple of months back. I would really like to see them as I plan on painting mine white. Thanks Terry@Sodaworks. '>
