what year VW convert or hardtop? looks like a nice car is it yours?
Joey
It's a restored 73 Superbeetle from the ground up. Has about 200 miles on the restore. When I had it sitting outside in the cold and every other car would fail turning over that one always came through. Every night since the restore after working on neon signs, I take it for a spin and put it up for the night. Saw your 65! You should have no trouble selling that!

The fiberglass moulded inserts for the lids should be here anyday. It's obvious if you look at the lid pics that someone previous to me chose a different route. Does anyone have a pic of how the insert installs or do you know if it would be like a WD-5?

Off to Ebay with new cooling and thermostat. It was a fair restore on the paint in 1999. Correct lids, new cooling, wiring and fan motors. I was going to put it in the pool room but it kind of impededs the draw on the pool stick.
'> That's why I'm looking for a WD-5 now. I'll be able to put that off to the side. Thank You to everyone for your help especialy the big Jerks Johnnie and Jim!
