I have just picked up a Cavalier 142e that had been stored in a furnace room for the past 15 years. Pluged it in and it cools great. But the inside handle to close the door has been broken off. Any ideas as to were to get a replacement handle?

Dave,

THis could be a little difficult as you'll have to find someone parting a machine...  If your model is a CSS-142, you might look into seeing if the other CSS models have similar door latches for a replacement.  I would think they're similar '<img'>

My six cents,

If you have a picture of the broken handle pieces, I can look in my stray-parts box, if it's simular to a vendo door latch, I might have one around, so post a picture and let's see what we can come up with.
