I had a lady email me with this dispenser. It is missing the lid and whatever else is missing in the pic. She wants $200 is it worth it? I offered her $75 but I don't think she will take it. What do you think?

Check out racerX45 website... That's a Multiplex from the 1930s I believe....
RacerX will be able to give you more details and pictures probably..... I have
2 signs to that model but that's it..... $200 seems high this may have an inner lid which looks
to be missing along with the front cup holder/back splash and grate... . also very hard to find....
Best bet would to be able to find another one rusted out and combine a lot of work and $$$$$.
But again, racerX45 will be able to give you an idea what it is worth......

Unless she goes for $75 I am going to pass. I don't think she will take it. Oh well.

The dispenser is a Multiplex but it is from the 50’s not the 30’s the earlier ones did not have the chrome trim around the top. As for value with out the lid it is really only good for parts or if you find a complete “off brand” you could repaint that lid to make this one complete. As for parts value the base is worth about $75.00, the Coke signs go from $65.00 to $150.00 each depending on condition and who “needs” them. So even if you low ball the parts prices to $50 for the base and $40 for each of the three signs then you should be ok if you get it for $150.00
