I just bought my first picnic cooler. I haven't got it yet but I will in about 3 hours. The guy says it is an embossed progress Dr Pepper cooler. He says it is in great shape. I paid $75 for it. Is that a good deal? Well that really isn't what I paid for it but that is what I am justifying for it. I actually paid $200 for it and a Cavalier 64. I know $125 for the cavalier is great but how did I do on the cooler?

Josh...you paid $200.00 for a Cavalier 64 and got the cooler for free.   You did well, as always

Here are the pics. The cooler is nice. The inside is flawless as is the tray. Some idiot painted the 64 brown.

It is much bigger than I would have thought. I really like it. I can't believe how nice the inside is. It looks like it hasn't been used. I am happy!!

I have the same soda machine.  It is the same color.  I believe they came that ugly color.  If/When I get the garage added on to the old house I am renovating, I want to paint it red and white as a coke machine should be.

I thought it was original too untill I loaded it into my truck and the bottom is red and white. I scratched a little in the coin door and it is black under it which would be correct to this model. There was a model that was origionally painted brown. This one was in the main office of a gas station here in memphis at some time so that is probably when it was painted. This is the exact model as the frosty was.

Man coolers are all over the place! Ha
Nice score... You could look at it like this... You
bought the cooler for $200 and they threw the machine in FREE!
