Someone once asked about high dollar candy machines.... These are high dollar!
These were all $2300-$3500 machines
(with exception of the square one in front, the pear shape globes were the big money)

Josh,

Thanks for confirming the I.D.! I totally skipped over that. I guess the paint scheme threw me off.

Eric,

I was running around like an absolute madman! Trying to take pictures and at the same time trying to get my wheel and deal on! Ya' know what the sickest part of that Heintz cooler is.....My buddy got it for $150!!!

I ended up getting jukebox stuff this trip. (2) Original finish Seeburg Teardrop Speakers, (2) Seeburg Wall-O-Matic Wireless Wallboxes and I picked up my Seeburg 146 Jukebox. I did really good on the speakers and basically walke away with one of the wallboxes!

All in all, I had an awesome time. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that has never been.

I've never been and I want to go.....

Brian what sort of money did you pay for your teardrops and what sort of condition are they in..? I'd love a teardrop to go with my Seeburg.

Okay, how can I sell this to the wife?? Next year's vacation. How far away is it from the touristy sites or beter still a shopping mall??

It's about 20 miles West of Chicago and it's twice a year. April and November...
Though I think Novemebr is the better time (Vendors have all spring & summer to
wheel and deal beating the bushes and finding this stuff
The Hires (Which I can't get over) came out of Pennsylvania....
All that stuff still turning up! WOW!

Oh and there's a mall a block away! That's where my wife was. '<img'>

Fun show

Dave -

Both Seeburg Teardrop's that I got are in awesome condition. All of the chrome is in tip-top shape. I got two different versions. The older of the two has the slightly larger script at a more radical angle and is has the original darkwood finish. It is in awesome shape. No nicks, scratches or cracks. This is going to sound funny, but the only thing missing from it was the actual speaker! The guy I bought it from is mailing me a new replacement speaker as part of the final price which was $300.

At first I felt I was spending to much. But after confering with some folks and realizing how nice the Teardrop really was, I didn't have any problems dropping that much cash. You'll see them go for $250 or more on Ebay in half of the condition. But as always, sometimes you can get lucky.

My other one is cream colored and is the "newer" of the two. Smaller script and a less radical angle. It has only a few bits of paint missing. Zero cracks or other defects. All I have to really do to get it in 100% show condition is sand it down and repaint it. I also paid $300 for it.

There's ALL sorts of shopping around! Malls, big name outlet stores (Polo, Ralph Lauren and such)

Matt -

So sorry! It was only $100, wasn't it....He really got a good one, didn't he!

Eric -

That & 7up machine was pretty nice, Another guy from down here in So. Indiana was close to pulling the trigger on it but was saved by MCarter from buying it. None of us but Matt had noticed that the bottle separator rack was missing. Good one on his part!
