Hi, I am new to the discussion board. I have a Cavalier FE-6 that has been sitting in my basement for about 10 years now. I bought it about 12 years ago and completely dissassembled it in anticipation of a do it yourself restoration project. Then came kids, business, etc, etc, you know the sad story.

Anyway, we are in the midst of a complete siding/window tear off and my wife gave me the word to clear the house of all the BIG stuff to make room for moving around furniture. So off to ebay went all the large car parts and now I have this piece. I was thinking about maybe having it restored by a restoration company but I really won't have a space for it here. Its in rough condition, as there are some spots that are pretty rusty. at the bottom near the casters. I assume that it can be repaired by someone with the proper tools and time. So my dilema is whether to sell it as is, ebay it, or see how much it would be to restore it. I do have photo's and all the parts are accounted for. Any thoughts or ideas is appreciated as I don't have a real good idea of what it's worth. Thanks.

Machine is sold, but just curious. How come every other post has tons of response and this one didn't get a one. I see all kinds of posts for heads up on ebay purchases and things available for sale. I didn't want to blatantly post a classified although I do see things offered here. Did I say something wrong?

Congrats on selling you Office Cooler! I'm pretty sure nobody was offended or annoyed by your post.

More than likely the reason you didn't get many responses is the fact that this isn't the section most folks use to advertise stuff for trade or sale. Usually, we use the swap meet section.

Another thing, unless you are asking a specific question, you might not get an answer. If you are asking a specific question like, "how much is it worth?" You really need to post a picture. It's easier for the folks here to give you an idea what you have.

And then some post kinda fall through the cracks, it happens to all of us. Again, good job on selling your cooler and making the boss happy at the same time! '<img'>

Hello David,

On behalf of the SMC Discussion Areas, I would like to extend an apology for the lack of response on my part which was due in part to Hurricane Wilma and a scheduled seven day hunting trip to VA.

As Brian has stated, posts get lost in the shuffle in our eagerness to review all the new posts...  I do appreciate your time in bringing this to our attention as this wasn't intentional; only a slight oversight on our part...

I do congratulate you on your successful sale of the cooler, however, for any future posts, posting a photo or two can really give us a tremendous insight to the model and condition of a machine/cooler you may be inquiring about...

Stop in from time to time too... '<img'>

My six cents,
