All,
I know Grainger has been referenced many times as a parts supplier. I believe JohnieG has mentioned them in a post regarding an agitator motor for a wet box. Unfortunately, I don't have a store closer than neraly an hour from me and I am not a company. Is there anyway to do business with them or am I stuck?

Grainger sells to the public from both the counter and online. I have never had a problem ordering from them.
If all else fails, treat your restoration work as a business...decide on a name and give it an address. The reason most set up a business account (real - for profit) is for tax exemption purposes and write offs as expense.

Jeff,
Thanks. To register, they make you either input a Tax ID # or your SSN for business verification purposes. I ain't too jazzed about giving out my SSN to just anybody and wasn't sure how much they would really look into it if I did.

Audio,
Thanks very much for the offer. However, my dad and brother work for a company that has a big account through Grainger. They inquired and said I can place an order through them. Again, thank you for your offer to help.
