When I paint my Cavalier 22, should I go original red and white or all red?

I like the red and white better but painting two tone is really hard. Especially on your machine since there isn't a piece of aluminum to cover the break in the paint. Are you going to paint the machine or are you having it done. All red would be alot cheeper and easier to do. I would bet that all red would be less than half the cost of two toning your machine. Just my thoughts.

Ok, here's my 2 cents worth. Look in the book at these large coolers and the white front two tone version is much more apealing.
To separate colors there is a special tape available at your paint store. It is a thin vinyl and the paint can't bleed at the edges like masking tape would.

I prefer the two tone also.

I'm always in favor of originality.
With the cost of red paint, you might find it cheaper to paint the cooler two-tone due to the majority being white.
The tape Glen is referring to is called "Fine Line" Tape and comes in various widths depending on your need.

My six cents,

The body guy looked at it and suggested I redo only the red,
being the white is in pretty good condition.
Being it's something i am keeping for a while and will use it
for special holidays and bbq's i may go with original colors.

I think I have some of the tape mentioned. Bought a box of odds and ends at
a yard sale last spring and it was full of tape, paint and stuff for model cars
and rc airplanes.
Thought hubby could use it for his Blue Angel model planes.

I prefer the two-tone machines.  All red is a little too much for me!
