Like others before have said, "a little off subject", but here goes! I purchased this last week and will be picking it up at the Coin-op Show in Chicago next month. On the outside it looks a little rough. All 4 of the red side plastics will need to be replaced as well as the top. I'll end up rebuilding (caps, resistors, and tubes) the amp and maybe re-coning the speaker. I just have to wait and see.

At least I'll be able to find parts as there is a solid collector base for this particular model. A lot of aftermarket reproductions and OEM spares as well as NOS parts. If anybody has any hint, pointers or advice, I'd love to hear it!

I'll be at the show too....
If you never been... you're in luck. There's enough venders set up that
you'll be able to buy anything you need for it including manuals.
Love that make.... Congrats!

Jim-

Thanks for the offer. How large is that manual? I see it advertised as a two part manual and I've seen it sold either way and was kind of apprehensive about purchasing one but I did anyway and am not sure I have everything that is made for the 146 Symphonola. Could you let me know what your copy contains? I'd really appreciate it.
