Well, I got around to rewiring my Cavalier CS90-D this evening, & after 20 years of wasting away the garage from which it was rescued, It lives again!

You can see the remnants of the old,dry-rotted harness on the floor next to the new wiring junction box, with it's replacement 14-AWG/linecord, the compressor fired right up & got frosty cold in a jiffy!

I modified the Coca~Cola insert to fit the CS90-D from a later model machines sign which I've had laying around the shop for a few years, I had to cut it down 1/4" on each side/edge, the length was fine, & now it's a perfect fit, along with a new Ballast & lamp sockets (tombstones) and a starter socket, maybe it doesn't show well in these quick pictures I took last night, but it looks great!

Now all it needs is a new "Have-a-Coke" Plexiglass insert & the "Correct-Change only" window from Funtronics, along with a locking bar & lock for the coindoor.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

That's sweet, John! Great to see another old soldier back on the "front lines" I like your breakout junction box in the first picture.
