Nice snag Josh. That's a really cool looking machine. I too really like the "transitional" machines. What are your plans fot it?
It sounds to me like a keeper in the works!! '>

I agree this one is a keeper. I am going to restore this one sometime in the future and I am thinking about doing it is the round top rc yellow with red letters. I think that would be really sharp.

Josh, looks to me you have the SMALL coin mech. adapted to fit a large door machine. That's good news. Now find a complete mech. from a 39 / 110 etc. and replate it for this machine. It will be good practice. Before you restore this machine, remember this! The Coin door and hardware, coin mech. and inside door linkage, door liner, bottle door, inner liner, bottle stack, shelves and compressor.......are all identical to a 56 round top.(Coin door would need some holes drilled and some filled, door liner trimmed in the upper corners.) If you ever score a 56 RT shell, this machine will be worth it's weight in gold for parts. I like your RC version just the way it is for now.

Almost all of my machines have been electric vend square tops so I havent really paid much attention to parts prices for round tops. It looks like I will be in the market for a coin mech. I know the large door mechs are expensive but since this machine has a small mech conversion I might just want to buy a small mech. My question is what do they go for? And also what machines have a compatable coin mech. Thanks

probably your best bet would be a Vendo 39, 81A, 81B, or small coin door 110 in the neighborhood of around $200.00 for a nice complete mech.

Also I think Cavalier 51s have small coin mechs I just mated my 39s mech up to the 51 and it seems to look as it would work.
