Hope you sent a US Postal money order, via US Mail. If so, you might want to talk to a Postal Inspector. You might be surprised at how much they can do. Having used US Mail would indicate you have an address. Makes it a lot easier with an address. Push come to shove, having used the telephone in the commission of a crime might make it a Federal Crime and the FBI might have some interest. Your state law enforcement agency might be of some help, the dollar amount might make it a felony fraud case in your state.

Great news! The cooler arrived here today by surprise. Seems teamwork is the key! Thanks Arron and/or SMC Today it has been stripped......New SS liner is being made, new glass and hardware on order. Original finish was supposed to be a wood grain look. YUK ! We were leaning toward all white with gold letters and black or green or white selection doors, but would welcome suggestions of a 1920's Coca Cola color scheme. Any input?

That indeed is good news. Wonder if he monitors this site and saw that you and the others were getting ready to hunt him down?

'> Hmm, for a '20's cooler I wouldn't think an all white look would fit the era, I'm leaning towards a classic early Green & Red color scheme , like you see on the "Glascock" & "Mill's" machines of the day..just a thought.. I do agree that the original painted "woodgrain" wouldn't be my first choice, yuk! , once again glad it worked out!

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Hmmmmm.... Would like to at least see what the wood grain looked like... Any photos? Right color scheme it may be better than you think as long as you can get someone with the talent to do real looking wood grain and not a bunch of brown color smeared on the cooler. But... If you don't go that route I'd say the dark geens and blood reds of the early machines also... White may be too generic.... Can you Photoshop it in a couple different looks before you start.... Or have you seen one restored? We need pictures!!!!!!................ '>

Glen, Great news on the cooler. If you decide to use the wood grain finish I have a guy here locally that is awesome at doing that kind of paint job. I seen his work on the dash a trim pieces of a custom high dollar street rod. It looked like real wood. He also does wood grain paint jobs on surfboards. He used to live in Ventura and owned a silk screen shop there. This guys work is awesome. I recently helped him install a paint booth in his shop. This winter we'll be putting one in my shop. '>
