this one was sitting in my dads garage for over five years since last use.  Upon moving the machine the fan motor that blows air over the compressor and coils fell apart.  A new motor and fan blade was purchased for $25.  We atempted to make a new mount for the motor and failed, then on our trip to the junk yard there was another wb66 machine with a newer fan and proper mount.  This seams to be a common problem on these machines.  Now after puting the unit back together and romoving some rust it runs just fine.  Below are some pictures of the machine that i have said i would post for over three years now.  the coin mech is from the vf-56 pepsi machine.  '<img'>

Thanks for posting the pics.  Looks like a nice clean machine.  It doesn't look very tall (oh my, there is even stuff on top).

The light up front sign really dresses up that model.

Stuff on top. Original coin mech missing the sluge rejector. I was stupid and accidently chucked the slug rejector with some other stuff that was junk. A rotate plastic peperment paddy machine. A celieng fan kit and a few other small items.

As for the other westinghouse machine at the junk yard. It was trashed. No racks, sign, door lock or anything. It did allow me to complete both machines minus one coinbox. I was thinking of taking the deck from it for a spare but I already have enough parts sitting around. Especially now that I found a place to get parts from on the cooling side of things

On another note. The tabs with the expection of the fanta tab imitation grape is new. Thanks to the local pepsi and coke people. I don't know about you guys. But the pepsi people in this area suck. I tried them for parts and machines. They don't do anything for you. I'm suprised they gave me free tabs. The Coke people on the other hand bends over backwards. I got lucky and most tabs just needed a little triming to fit. I didn't want to use original tabs. Since they are in such nice condition.

Oh as for the height. 5ft or so. The vf56 machine in the garage is shorter but wider. Take some and loose some for space. 10 cans per row. 60 cans all together. Storage space on top of racks for another 12+ cans. All the cans get nice and chilled even on the top for storage.

later,

Josh

I agree, Nice machine! that lightup does the trick on this model, as do the "style-stars" on the front..

Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!

"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
