All of the Cv168's that I have had require no adjustments to vend bottles. Look at the tag does it say Bottle and can vendor?

I'll check it before I go to the store.

What are the 6 plates for?

I'll be adding a pic in about 5 minutes.

The plates (6 all together) are  bundled in the bottom, never knew how to install or what they were used for.

Well they look like spacers. If that is what they are they would adjust the width from going from cans to bottles. But if I am correct i think the origional cans were skinnier. Again I don't know for sure. I think the spacers were to make the machines vend the skinnier cans. Now aren't cans about the same size as bottles? I have never paid much attention. I do know that on the cavalier 55 you use spacers when going from bottles to cans.

Good to know info. I'll try them out later.

Need to clean up a can spill in the machine from a leaking can I just found.
Those thin alum cans really are a hazzard at times atleast it was a small spill.

This may not help, but I do know that modern 12 oz. soda cans are slightly bigger around than 10 oz. glass bottles (and probably the 12 oz. bottles). In my V-216MD, cans fit fine, but I had to put spacers in my channels for 10 oz. bottles. For what it's worth.
