Hi all, I am trying to gather up at least two cases worth of empty Barq's 10 oz. glass bottles. They are the ones with raised diamond shapes just below the neck and blue painted labels.
See two photos. They need not say "Biloxi" on them like in one of the photos.
I am not collecting them for value or anything, I just really like the look of them and want to put some cases of them near my machine).
Anyone have any?

8 oz or 10 oz? 8 oz is a current production and Retro Soda has them: http://www.retrosoda.com/barobe8ou.html ! They set up at the Chicagoland Show, but if you want something it is best to order it a week ahead of time.
If you have to have the 10 oz., how much will you go up to - $5.00?

Dr. G., Wow, I had no idea that the 8 oz. were still in production at http://www.retrosoda.com/barobe8ou.html
Unfortunately, I want only the 10 oz. (to match in size with my other 10 oz. brand bottles). Otherwise, I could just buy a few 24 packs for a little over $1/bottle and still be able to drink the soda!
Oh well. Please let ma know, anybody, if you have any to sell. I'll pay up to $5 each, but with trying to buy a bunch of them and shipping and all, the cost will add up quickly, so less than $5 is always welcome. '>
I just started checking on ebay, but they are mostly single bottles which gets to be a lot of individual shipping payments. I just missed a half case or case of them a week or so ago. '>
Thanks guys and gals.

Kito, There are two huge antique malls here in Daytona that I am going to go look for bottles for you today. Remember I still owe you $10 so i will see what I can find. I go to the Flea market about everyother weekend and I have been keeping my eyes open. There are 6 1/2 oz bottles everywhere but no 10oz.

Kito, I just got back from the antique mall and no bottles at all. They have a Vendo 80 but it says for show only Not For Sale. Oh well everything there was overpriced.

Just a side note. Any of you who fill your machines with the current 8 oz Coke bottles. Those ****stards at Coke Cola Coporate have stopped producing the embossed 8 oz bottles and switched to a nasty looking painted bottle that is much thinner and not even the right shape. I've been buying the embossed ones when I see them trying to stock up so I can start refilling them. I was caught napping by the change and was only able to get about a case and half before they dried up around here.
