Being Canadian I looked at that machine myself, but it's in Manitoba and I'm in Ontario so it wasn't happening..  will be interested to see how you fare..  I have often wondered about shipping machines across the border..  (coz I really want a V63 and nobody up here has one!)

Skeleton.  I've sold machines to people in Canada and they have acted like it was no big deal to get across the border.  Just had to make them a receipt for customs.  I would start looking for a machine in Michigan or New York and just cart it across myself if I was you.

Thanks for the info....  I've contemplated NY as it's so close to the border.. but I would need a door-to-door service as I don't have access to a truck... and the nearest airport is 3 hours away...

Not to add temptation (well ,maybe a little) I'm currently restoring a Vendo 63 for sale but I'm in Brunswick, Maine.
