Hi,
Can someone tell me where there's info on determining which Coke Bottles are collectible?  I've got some that I know are old, but it would be great to know if any are actually Collector Models.
Thanks for any help!

If they are the old Hobbleskirt model , (the style they are famous for and see today)
check the bottom.. if the city names are large lettering look on the side then you should see a small number,
then circle then another little number... the number to the right is the year and the number to the left is
the mold number (or so I've been told) Also if the Pat number under the Coca-Cola logo on the side starts with a
ā€œDā€ that's good but a Dec 25 1923 or Nov 1915 is better... The 1915 is the year this famous design came out
and the Dec 1923 are also collectable (Though the 1923 bottle were repro'd in in the late 80s... But the repro's are thin
glass and the city names are not large on the bottom) These all vary in price due to cities they are bottled
(some are harder to find and yes folks try to collect every city) Some go for a couple dollars some up to a hundred dollars.
Straight sided, embossed bottles also are very collectable and bring good money.
There is a member here looking for embossed 10 oz. bottles of Coca-Cola... 'kito... If you have some of these
drop him a line.
Best bet would be to check eBay to monitor prices and I believe there are books too.

Welcome to SMC and stick around... you'll learn a lot on machines and other soda stuff!
Hope I helped a little.

Eric

Thanks, Eric.  You helped a LoT!  Now I know where to start.
I'll round up that box of bottles...[if I can even remember
where it might be...] and have a close look at them.
Really appreciate your info.  Thanks again! '<img'>
