I'm not having much luck locating a hinge for the main door.  The casting for the bottom hinge is all 'mushed'.  '<img'>

I Think someone forgot to put the shims in the last time it was restored.   '<img'>

The picture below is how the hinge should look...  Please excuse the paint, I haven't cleaned this hinge yet.

Vendo-63D,
Welcome to the forum family. Great to have you here!
Can we see a pic of your whole machine?

Here it is before restoration...

I only intend on restoring the main door.  The box will stay as it was when my grandfather purchased the system some 35+ years ago...

I'm parting out a 63 at the moment.  Do you want me to check the hinges?

Bob - I'm looking for a couple shelves for a VF56.  I think the shelves are the same as the V63. Do you have any shelves?

Bryan - I've got shelves if you need them.  Are you sure that the 56 and 63's are interchangable?

Also, check your email regarding the bottle door.

Bob - I'm not sure but I thought I had read it somewhere that they were the same.  Anyone else know for sure?

In the meantime, my shelves are 19" long on the side with the hook, 16" on the other long side and 6-1/2" wide.  There's also a smaller hook on the end of the underside.  If these measurements are close, I can send you a couple more pics and measurements to be sure.

I'll do some measuring.  Too bad about the door.
