OK guys, you know I have been restoring my machines for months now. Was delayed by the death of my brother.
well the thing is last night some teens vandalized my machines. After I spent the the afternoon reassembling the vending mech was going to finish it up today and found this had happened.
The police and prosecuting attorney are looking into it and hope to have a confession soon. Of course they are denying it. I have one very mad parent and has confronted his son.
Spray pained the machines I just had painted, cut wire to coin mech and ripped out wires.
And my husband cant understand why I'm upset and want to involve the police and the parents
So how much is it going to cost me to rewire the machine they ripped the wires out of?

With some time you can do it yourself. I have done a few and it really isn't hard. I am so sorry to hear about what happened. You are doing the right thing. Those kids need to be taught a lesson.

Thanks, I had to end the ebay listing on both and already had bids.
So where can I get the connectors, wiring and new female part to the jones plug to rewire.
How do i get the liner off. Someone walk me through that process.
My daughter had to leave the house while I vented, being they were her "friends". She thinks I'm unfair.

There is a post from only a day or two ago in the swap meet area about where to get the jones plug. The liner comes out one of two ways. One lift up the seal on the outside of the liner. There will either be screws or clips. If it is screws just remove them and pull the door liner off, if it is clips just gently pry them off. It is really simple either way.

Thanks Josh.
I hope you all (it's a southern thing could have said ya'll)will help getting over this is going to be hard. I spent long hours working and cleaning these machines I feel like I can take one apart blindfolded.
Went back out and looked over the machines and the cap catchers on both machines are missing.
Guess they needed a prize along with the jones plug.
My heart still sinks.
