Going to try and arrive around 10:30 AM. Anybody else thinking about going? I've never been so no idea of where to meet...

Creighton,

I've gone a bunch of times...it's great.  If you are out for a stroll on a sunny Sunday, 10:30 is fine but if you are a hardcore collector...a lot of the stuff will be picked through....you get people out there at 5 in the morning paying 15 bucks or something to look for the hidden gem.  I believe the show ends at 3:00 and people will come down in prices in the afternoon.

There are alot of gas pumps, advertising, occasional juke, and coke machines...I've picked up Westinghouse coolers, seen a Jacobs, Marquee neon clock for 350...I hesitated too long...and gotten some really cool signs (buttons and fishtails).  You'll noticve the sellers who buy off eBay and brings the stuff still in the cardboard wrapping and try to sell it for double.  I hate those guys....not sure if I can make this wekend..I'll be tracking down another lead for a coke machine.

Thanks for the info!!
Taxman has killed us so it is just a walk through this month. Will take the camera for pics to share and if there is anything way cheap will drag that home. Good luck on the hunt and hope all have a great weekend!!

Event report:
Got there about 10:00. Fun show. Great view of the SF skyline and was going to tour the USS Hornet docked nearby but just too tuckered after walking the show. It's quite the hike. That close to Berkeley the people watching was worth the price of admission.

Didn't see much coin mech stuff. Attached pics are a VMC that he proudly stated he had rewired himself and it cooled great. $600.00 with beltline rust-through and I wouldn't plug it into a AA battery without redoing the AC. No idea what he wanted for the Nehi sign. The other is a sign for a brand I've never seen before, he wanted $1200 for the barracuda. Moved on without asking about the sign.

The VMC was the only machine, some fun signs, a few picnic coolers (nothing special). 3 different booths of some cool old bakelite phones. No jukes or gas pumps, couple of dirt common gumball machines way over priced. Bunch of the Chinese vertical pinball type machines (don't know what they are called).

I'll go again when possible. AC is right, early is best if nothing else just to get a good parking spot and beat the heat.

Sorry Kito, couldn't find any 10 oz embossed for ya. I need two hillbilly MD's to complete a case and there wasn't any MD bottles at all :-(
