Hi,
I was wondering about the idea of taking my Ideal 55 rack to a machine shop and having the slots widened a bit to accommodate larger neck bottles.  Has anyone tried this and would this be a reasonable approach approach?

Opinions?

Thanks,

probably would be cheaper to have it copied as opposed to modified, remove one row/slot & use some "T" shaped rails instead of the triangle pieces.

FYI.... there were some late-model A5 sliders that had can racks instead of bottle racks, Pat Pixley used to own one.

What larger neck bottles were you thinking of? I know the height differs which doesn't matter on the Slider.

Hi,  There are a few brands of soda where the necks are just a fraction too large to slide in the rack.

In reality it is probably not worth the effort to modify the rack.
