Vendo 44 Coin Mech: Need help

Hello, I just bought a Vendo 44 (Canadian model), a very solid original.
The previous owner had removed some parts in the coin mech to allow it to vend without coins. (Removed the plunger and a few other parts)
He kept all the parts (I think/hope) in a plastic bag.

I am trying to reinstall these parts but would need guidance on where to attach the spring as seen in the picture.
