Are the vendo-83s worth anything? Are any of the parts interchangable with anything else?

The 83's are not worth as much as say aVendo 81 but they are nice machines. The only problem is that they only vend small bottles and only one selection. Vendo also produced a bunch of these. Jeff Walters book says an average machine is $225 and restored is $1,400. The cabnet and I think the cooling system are the same as a 110.

This Wednesday I'm finally picking up the V-83 I got on eBay for $61.00 a while ago.

Dang Kito......That's a steal! Is it a "local" drive for you? I guess even if it is a long drive, what you pay in gas still will allow you to make off lake a bandit with this one!

Yeah, a great steal. Unfortunately it is a very long all day round trip drive, but like you said, still worth it. The only thing it is missing is one of the two strips of trim across the front. I figure it will be hard to find, but who knows.
