Ideal 55 Squirt Restoration Question

Purchased a working complete Ideal 55 Squirt machine and have a few questions.
While looking for the weight on a restorers site he mentioned if your Ideal 55 cooling system doesn't work dont send it to them because replacment system is no longer made. What if anything do you guys do if you have a major cooling break down ?
My other question is...I want to remove box and reinsulate and clean up cooling system..can anyone give me detail steps in removing box ? Is there anything that needs to be supported, tied off or propped up before removing ? Thank you for any and all help.
