I am almost complete with my restoration of my Cavalier 55. I finally got the vending mech courtesy of Josh (Loman4ec) but I am still missing a few integral parts, namely the Side Spacers required proper fit of different size bottles.

There are a total of (4) spacers per Cav 55D and without them I won't be able to vend anything but 10oz and 12oz bottles. I know the Vending Mech was a push but I'd figure some of these spacers should be laying around somewhere, I hope  '<img'> otherwise I might be relegated to vending non-coke products out of such a fine machine...Who knows, I might even stack stuff on top of it!  '<img'> Thanks for any help in advance.

heaven forbid anything but coke, just like henry ford said the public can have a model T in any color they want as long as it's black.    '<img'>

Just have them made for you. That is why I gave you two from my keeper machine. They are simple. You could probably have them made for less than you could buy origionals.

Bought a Cavalier can machine on E-bay for $75.00 because it was cheap and close.  Seller had this big machine in a small garage in a small house in the Hollywood hills.
He helped me load it into my van and when I turned around, we had exposed the prettiest Cavalier 55 light-up Coke machine that I have ever seen in person.  Dang, no camera.
Of course I asked him if he was going to sell me that one too.  "No I like it cause' it's small" he said at first.
As I was leaving he asked how much I would offer for it. I checked my pockets and found $200.00 which I gladly offered him.  Wasn't enough.  If anyone locally is interested I can fwd his phone number.

Josh,

Those (3) galvanized plates you included are not the side spacers. The side spacers have multiple brakes in them to form a pattern that will support the angular dimensions of a soda pop bottle. I know we both thought they were the side spacers but unfortunately they aren't.

Petey,

Hey man! I'm not hatin' on any other product! My first and foremost machine is Pepsi VF-117. In fact, It will be done here very soon! The body / door is now in primer and just waiting for final paint! I can't wait.... '<img'>  It's been awhile since It's all been in one piece!
