It's funny..... in “His” (Gumball Machine) World they may be... but I've yet to find one... It's like our “Soda World” where Westinghouse Coolers are common.... Yet when someone starts to collect you can't even find a picnic cooler. Glad you're able to bring this one back..... A nice machine for your first small coin-op vending machine.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Hmm.... That Columbus looks like a Model A (Carini book pg.53 -UL )The F is wider at the bottom..... The Victor is late 40s early 50s the different globe looks like a 3 or 4 lb globe (how much product it can hold) The Pocket Handbook I have doesn't show that style globe.... But it being smaller, glass and a unquie neck I bet it could bring $150-$200. The Columbus model A shows in the book to be worth less ($200-350 I bet it would bring more. ) It's been painted which really won't hurt it and it had the embossed globe...which is good. Book prices doesn't matter in eBay world.... What someone is willing to pay.
Good luck
Eric

Eric | Thanks everybody for the info,as I have some Idea what gumball's go for, but very little in this area of collectables.
I've double checked the model no. on the Columbus & it is indead a model "F" with it's original cast iron stand.
the Victor-topper also has it's original stand,
I've already listed his Adams 6-column gum machine as he wanted it listed, (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6173262128&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:US:1) if anybody wants to take a peek , I personally think his reserve is set too high, but I'm only listing it on my Ebay acct. it's his stuff & he's really helped me out over the years with his spare parts bins for my soda-machines a very nice guy!
