Does anyone have a photo of the solenoid and associated linkage on a vendo vf56
I just pulled the stack out of my first machine. I noticed than when the solenoid would engage there doesn't seem to be a return spring for the solenoid. There was a bent brass pin, which I'm going to take a leap was to allow it to free vend.

Can someone share a photo(s) of that area, so I know what normal is.

Update:
I did find a drawing and a photo of this area. I straightened the pin, and cleaned the linkages.
It turns out that there was provision for a spring to help reset the mechanism after the solenoid released, but
it was not used. Instead they count on gravity pulling the solenoid down and that action causes the mechanism to reset. If all the linkage parts are clean and move smoothly it should work. To assure it does 100% of the time a
coil spring could be added to assist the reset by attaching it to that brass pin where the groove has been machined in it.
