Been helping a friend who's closing down his kirby vacuum shop get a few machines finished up for his last few customers. One of the main things he taught me to do was how to buff the aluminum shells of the Kirby's. Been pretty fun learning and I think I'm figuring it out. Few weeks ago he gave me this little Royal hand held vacuum. Didn't have a bag and since he's closing he didn't want to mess with it. So I took it apart and asked if I could buff the nozzle. Still need to give it a final wipe down and a coat of wax but I'm happy with how it's turning out. My friend who taught me how to do it wanted to watch me when I did some parts to see how I was getting them as nice as they were. Guess he thinks I might be better than him  biggrin

Always remember: a "Teacher" who does not teach a student to be better than themselves is not a "Teacher"!

Excellent work on your polishing skills ! ! !  Looks like a million bucks now!

That looks fantastic.
Maybe you should take over restoring Kirby Vacuums. I have an old one that is still in use.
