I've never seen this one and its not on the soda machines manufacturer list.

and no it's not typo.. the tag says SLECTOR Products.. Not Selector?

It looks like it could have been an added top to a quickold cooler? as the trim and bottle opener look quickold?

the seller says its a vending machine, has a coin mech and some sort of bottle apparatus inside? not sure how it would vend or works.

I've only seen the photos so far, not in person?

anyone ever seen this?

Very interesting John!
Keep us posted with more info...  Would like additional pictures showing the vending system, coin mech, etc, etc...

Wonder if that's something the Quikold Company offered... that sure looks like a Quikold cooler (master?) to me...
Looks like you have to fish out the bottle with that arm thing... pretty cool.

reminds me of the machine at the Cedartown Coca-Cola museum.. you put your money in fish out the bottle with the arm thing and drop the bottle into the chute..
this looks like you put the money in it, unlock the handled lid and you get your soda after you fish it out and drop it in the bin. I would guess early forties because of the cooler.

A bit more information on this machine, I don't have it in my possession yet, trying to buy it perhaps, but may have the opportunity to restore it for the current owner.. he is not sure yet.

but he did get me more info on the operation of it..

yes it is like a claw machine so to speak , you have to move the arm around and grab the bottle you want visible through the glass.. you then grab the bottle neck and lift and place it into the vend area.  The weight from the bottle activates a lock so you can then open the top hatch of the vend area and you pull out the bottle!!!  Sounds pretty neat..

not sure if the coin mechanism allows the movement of the arm, or if it only allows the actuation of the bottle weight system or just the door latch/ unlock..

I hope to see it later this summer /fall and can then give a full report.

Only 5% of our ocean has been explored.
With this find it looks like there is still new species to discover in the vending machine world  laugh
