Just picked this up this past week. found on Craigslist and guy was one of the nice ones that said you called first, you get first dibs.
he had other offers but held it for me for 5 days!!!
Some people still respect "A deal is a deal" agreement.

I figured it wouldn't last and offered to pay the guy via paypal or wire transfer to his bank same day to hold it.. and he just kept telling me "if you want it , it's yours".  he said just bring me cash .

I just could not drive the 5 hours to get it anytime sooner, so fingers crossed we spoke daily and made the trek with cash and he held it for me.
