I 've recently purchased a Cavalier 96 that I intend to restore, I've spent the last few weeks reading everything I can about these machines and putting together a list of what I'll need to restore the machine.
In the middle of selling the house so probably won't start for a few months.
The coin mech doesn't seem to be the original for the machine (I could be wrong).
Can anyone give me an idea of what model the coin mech is as I am having trouble finding information on it.
At the moment it has mud wasp nests built all through it so it will require a good service.
Is this model reliable and can it be changed to vend for 10c, or should I be looking at swapping it out with a different model.

I'd save yourself a headache and toss that mech and get a coinco S75.  A shopped S75 can usually be purchased between 100-150.....see below.

We didn’t like those NRI mechs in the 70’s. They were clunky and problematic. Places like WICO had kits for them, but it was easier to replace them than have them repaired even back then.
