Vendo Milk Vendor

Attached is a photo of what appears to be a different model Vendo Milk Vendor. Was this model an early version of the traditional milk machine?

Can anyone shed some light on this milk machine.

This is the larger commercial Vendo milk machines usually found in schools, business breakrooms, cafeterias, etc....

I have one I restored in my garage that is very similar to this one except mine has 3 selector buttons and a showcase in the lighted front sign.

Here's a pic of mine in the garage.  Also I included the ID plate and an ad that shows my model.

Nice machine! Looking at that ad, makes me wonder... Has anyone ever seen one of the vendo coffee vending machines?
