7up PC Question

Picked this up yesterday on impulse. Noticed it doesn’t have a bottle opener on it but not sure it ever did. Based on pictures of other ones like this I have seen, opener looks to hang off the lip and is riveted into the side of the cooler. Don’t see a hole on this where it would have been.

Did they ever make these without a bottle opener? Thanks

That one looks odd. If it’s from Progress Refrigeration Corp ( cant read the mfg in your pic)
then it’s an A-4.
They had the opener on the edge like you said. Sometimes they don’t have the opener, and I have found those openers by themselves.

Is the logo embossed or painted on?

It is a Progress and I believe it’s painted on

That’s why the logo looks out of whack. The 7up embossed ones have a smaller logo.
No problem though. It looks like it’s in good shape.
