Water Release Decal Removal

Does anyone know of a good product to use to remove really old water release decals? I searched on here and really didnt find a good answer. Thanks in advance for any help.

Had some water release decals that were on a machine for about 20 years.
I used some sticky shipping tape and pressed it on hard, it ripped them off pretty well.

I do not have anything to add as I have never attempted to remove water decals...

I use my Shark steamer, it melts the decals & won’t harm the paint, works on thoses greasy-grimy door gaskets too!
