Hi gents;
 I have the opportunity to buy a white top vendo 39 machine locally. I am wondering if you experts out there can help me out with a valuation on what a fair price would be.

Here’s a brief overview of the machine.

THE GOOD

The outside paint is decent and doesn’t necessarily need a restoration.
The machine runs and cools well.

THE BAD

The coin mech and coin mech door are missing.
The inside drum is gone; the current owner is using it as a beer fridge in his bar.

If the value is there I may grab this one, but I’m respectfully looking for inputs o. What it’s worth as I’m not sure in today’s market.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

So would replacing the 6 or 7 hundred dollars in parts make this into a 3k machine?

There are so many 39's out there that there is no need to buy one needing all those parts unless you can get the machine for free. A 39 is not a 3K machine unless it has a grade 1 restoration. Either way, I wouldn't touch that machine.

What you have is a cool refrigerator, except with the coin door missing, it’s not cool.
IMO heed everyone’s advice here, unless it has sentimental value or some other reason to waste a lot of money on it.
There are plenty of 39’s out there.
