Sorry, but it's a POP MACHINE!

Okay, I decided to try to fix my LaCrosse slant-shelf Pepsi machine (LC ILL 90 6 P).  The main problem is that the hinge pins rusted and then broke off.  Is this kind of hinge available anywhere?  If not, do you know where I can get some heavy duty hinges that my brother inlaw could weld on?
It's a LaCrosse, so finding parts (as most of you know) is a royal pain.

I have a vendorlator hinge that might work if some mods are done to it. PM me with your address and I will send you a set. No charge. It is worth a try.

I went out and looked at my Lacrosse. Could you not just drill out the old pin and replace with a similar diameter rod?  Justin

That's what I thought at first, but
1) the hinges are too close to get a drill in close enough.
2) the pins are rusted so good, it is like one piece of metal.

I'll see if Josh's hinges work, if not I'll try someting else.

Don't blame ya! It was just a thought I had, seems difficult at times to place parts from another brand on a machine.  Justin

Here are 2 more things you can try if you need.

1. Buy a can of PB Blaster if you do not currently own it.
Check out this site to see what the can looks like.  You can spray this stuff on floor and it will run around looking for rusty stuff to loosen up (well that may be a little exageration but it does work better than anything I have found.  Then vise grips may get it

2. Probably one of my best investments: a set of "good" extractors.  I have a set of Snap-On extractors that consists of lefthand drill bits and screw type extractors...the more your turn them, the more they bite in and loosen the stuck object. Next on the list is a taperd collet stud extractor for just this situation where you can't drill it.

At first I thought that you were trying to get me to buy a new drink at Dairy Queen! ':p'
Can I get this at Menards or Ace?  Is it with the WD-40'<img'>?

They have a store on line if you don't find it locally.  Home Depot and Tractor Supply sometimes have it.

Found the PB Blaster at Menards in the Automotive section (I don't understand some of their placement - a stranger one is driveway sealer in the paint section).
Should I spray some on it the night before, or is this just wasting this precious liquid?  I hope to get some time this weekend to try it out (Sat = work, Sun = write paper ':p' ).

Give it a good soaking the night before you work on it.  Don't worry about using too much, they'll make more.

Looks like I'll be waiting for those hinges to come in!
Sprayed the PB Blaster last night.  Ate dinner and then sprayed more.  Played with dog, sprayed more.  Looked at garden, sprayed more and tried removing.  Sprayed more, tapped for about 5-10 minutes, sprayed more, tried again. Before bed sprayed some.  Before work sprayed some.  Got home (didn't have to work as late as planned) sprayed, tried, sprayed, tapped, sprayed, tried, gave up ':p' .

I will be out at my storage on Tuesday so I will take them off then and send them right out to you. I think they might work.

A little update:
I gave the machine to a friend of mine and  I found out why these pins would not come out - they were stamped in there!  He took the hinges off and had a machine shop take them out and then he had to improvise on new pins.  I thought that I would post these pics in case Jim wants to put them in the machine section, since this model is not listed: "90 6 P"

Thanks for the update.  I did notice during your attempts you did not mention dancing followed by cussing.  That might have saved the trip to the machine shop!!! ':p'
