I'm not sure that sign had end pieces. Yours looks exactly like the one in Pettreti's guide P.262.
Menu boards of that era that did have ends, usually had a bottle and a Sprite Boy rather than the knife and fork.
Anyway, it's a nice sign just the way it is. I like it!
