What would be a price range for a later model vendo 39, restored and unrestored?  I would like to purchase a vendo 39 later model, but am I new to the world of soda machine collecting.

Shawn,

When you say "Late Model Vendo 39", are you expecting to see a price difference or do you just like this model without the "Ice Cold" along the bottom of the cabinet door...?

I would estimate a V-39 in good condition that is complete and functioning between $750 - $1000. Expect to pay more if you locate one in exceptional condition. I haven't seen or heard any recent selling prices for a restored V-39, but my guess would be between $2400 - $2800. I've seen many people asking more but I really don't think these machines are selling regularlly for $3000+. I could be wrong though...

I like the look of the later model vendo 39's with the white top and red botom.  It seem's that all the ones I see on ebay, etc. are much more than 3000, of course I could be mistaken on the machine model number.  Thank you for your help, as it gives me a starting point

Did you happen to see this one on Ebay?

Vendo 39

Seems a bit steep right now, but wonder if our seller might come down a bit on his reserve being how nobody has yet placed a bid.  If he did come down, the machine doesn't look all that bad, except for the 7up sign screwed on the front.  As of tonight, he's had over 263 views, and again, no bids.

Worth watching for a while.  I've noticed on one other machine that I'd love to park in my garage that the seller had a crazy reserve price, which he lowered when he relisted the second time around (although he's still in a low earth orbit, and the only bid is for $1).

Good luck.  It's an neat looking machine, hope you find a nice one!

If they were each $1000.00 I would choose the latter . It needs no re-painting........just a real good cleaning. It's a nice original

Agree with Glen,
Orginal is always a better deal. Might be ugly behind that 7-Up sign. Description is a bit short on the orginal. Might see if you could find out if it cools and get some more pictures.
Good Luck and wlecome!!

I have sold several V39's for 3700.00, prices will depend on location as well.

Again.. I agree with Glen... a good clean original is a better deal... You'd have six holes to
contend with on the other... Had a 39 here in Missouri restored go for $32XX.00
last year went higher than a roundtop 56 ($2800) and it was restored.... Don't
think I'll ever see that again. But 39 are nice machines. A true classic machine.
Good Luck and let us know how you come out.
We all love machines here... and like seeing what others find.
