Attached is a picture of the Cornelius Compact 50 Model I got on Craigslist.  I just got the lighted sign from ebay.

Looking at how the circle sign on front is attached.

Mine has small "pegs" around the back side that lock it into the side of the cooler.

Dan is correct !!

You have to wiggle a putty knife behind it ( 3-4 places ) and get it close the pins that are pushed in to the clips that are mounted in to the cabinet . be careful as the pins on the sign can break off .
after you remove the sign the clips can be removed by slightly compressing the sides and wiggling them out
