Can anyone tell me what the HP for a WC 44SK is?  I can't find a tag anywhere.  I suspect it's very small fractional 1/6 to 1/4 HP with the 1/6 being more likely as it can't be too big.  If it is 1/6 and I replace the complete unit including evaporator so that everything is sized correctly, would I still go with a 1/6 HP and probably 410A, with the freon being determined by the manufacture?

You obviously dont know, so I'll tell you that R410 is not something you slap into a system like this, you will blow the snot out of your evaporators tubing, ( it's a very high pressure system gas used in place of R22 usually in HVAC Systems) you'd be looking for an R134a compressor, try googling the original compressors model number, it should pop up with some specs as far as its size was.  blush

The number should be stamped into / on the compressors case somewhere.  And you could post a picture too.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
